Job Summary
As a core early-stage member of VIPKID Japan, this role assumes the dual responsibility of strategic operational decision-making and foundational team building. Reporting directly to China Headquarters, you will formulate and execute data-driven business growth strategies, assist in assembling a core local team, and ensure compliant and efficient operations during the company's startup phase.
Job Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Data Analysis Management
- Establish and track key performance indicator systems for the Japan business, covering sales, marketing, and service dimensions to ensure business decisions are based on objective data.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of full-link sales data to accurately identify bottlenecks and churn points in business processes, proposing optimization plans or product improvements accordingly.
- Combine insights into the Japanese competitive landscape to translate HQ strategies into execution plans tailored to the local market.
Core Team Building & Talent Acquisition
- Assist HQ in defining talent profiles for core initial Japanese roles, covering key functions such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service.
- Develop and maintain local recruitment channels, manage resume screening and preliminary interviews, and effectively communicate the company vision and value to candidates.
- Oversee the new hire onboarding process and assist HQ with initial business training and corporate culture induction to accelerate team readiness.
Initial General Management Support
- Manage the establishment of the Japan office and daily administrative logistics to build a stable working environment.
- Serve as the statutory contact point in Japan, liaising with external professionals (Tax Accountants, Labor and Social Security Attorneys, and Lawyers) to ensure strict compliance in tax, legal, and employment matters.
- Flexibly handle various unexpected situations that may arise during the startup phase, coordinating resources for proper resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above with 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience with a background in Sales Operations, Market Growth, or Project Management within the Online Education, or Consumer Goods industries.
- Must possess practical experience in a startup environment or a "0-to-1" new business launch, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency with excellent business communication and writing skills.
- Business-level proficiency in Chinese, capable of using it as a working language for communication with Headquarters.
- Possess a keen data-driven mindset.
- Possess a comprehensive management mindset.
- Experience working in both Chinese and Japanese enterprises is preferred.

- 负责建立并追踪日本业务的关键绩效指标体系,涵盖销售、市场、服务等维度,确保业务决策基于客观数据
- 深入分析销售全链路数据,精准识别业务流程中的瓶颈与流失节点,并据此优化方案或产品改进
- 结合日本市场竞争格局,将总部战略转化为符合本地市场的执行计划
核心团队搭建与人才获取
- 协助总部明确日本初期核心岗位的人才画像,涵盖销售、市场、运营及客户服务等关键职能
- 开拓并维护本地招聘渠道,负责简历筛选与初步面试,向候选人有效传递公司愿景与价值
- 统筹新员工入职流程,协助总部进行初期业务培训与企业文化导入,促进团队快速形成战斗力
初期综合管理支持
- 负责日本办公室的创立及日常行政物资管理,建立稳定的办公环境
- 作为公司在日本的法定联络窗口,对接税务师、社会保险劳务士及律师等外部专业机构,确保公司在税务、法务及用工层面的严格合规
- 灵活应对初创期可能出现的各类突发状况,协调各方资源进行妥善处理
任职要求
- 本科及以上学历,具备5至8年相关工作经验,拥有互联网在线教育或消费品行业的销售运营、增长或项目管理背景
- 必须具备初创公司或新业务线从零到一的实操经验,具备极强的问题解决能力与抗压能力
- 日语为母语级别,具备优秀的商务沟通与文书撰写能力
- 中文商务水平,能够作为工作语言与总部进行一定沟通
- 具备敏锐的数据和综合型管理思维
- 具备中日企业工作背景优先
