Description:

The Varsity Tutors for Schools team is seeking a Fulfillment Lead that will assist with leading a team of fulfillment specialists that provide support for 1:1, small ratio tutoring, and small group tutoring programs. The Fulfillment Lead will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team, setting completion and quality goals for their work, and ensuring that the operation is on track to meet promised launch dates for school clients. In addition, they will be expected to help improve the operational workflows of the team in such a way that increases the team’s ability to meet our quality and efficiency goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Education, teaching, or tutoring experience is preferred, but not required.
• High degree of attention to detail and holding your work to high standards.
• Strong ability to work both efficiently and accurately.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Thrives in a fast-growing environment.
• Experience with Excel and Google Sheets is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily and weekly operational work of the fulfillment team.
• Demonstrates ownership of work by holding team to high standards of operational excellence.
• Demonstrates a high level of administrative skill, i.e. making tracking documents; generating timely reports to facilitate workflow; identifying and triaging potential roadblocks to success, etc.
• Communicate across teams to ensure successful implementation and client success.
• Demonstrated capacity for independent project work.
• Can serve as a “point person” for the implementation of new processes or initiatives.
• Works as “Manager on Duty” when assigned by manager.
• Resolves issues and/or makes working decisions within area of specialization.
• Facilitate coaching sessions with team and help manager run team meetings.
• Assists with training new team members as directed by management.
• Collaborates with others to support projects and data collection.
