Professional Learning Implementation Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Professional Learning Implementation Specialist to be a key factor in ensuring Discovery Education’s partners have a consistent and well-aligned professional learning experience. Not only will you deliver highly engaging learning experiences grounded in Discovery Education’s suite of K-12 products to educators, but you will also work closely across our Partnerships and Partner Success teams to support the creation of thoughtful professional learning implementation plans. You are a master facilitator and collaborator; you will leverage these skills to support the training, coaching, and development of a regional group of professional learning facilitators. This role is critical to the successful creation, planning, and implementation of all Discovery Education’s professional learning. Some content development will be required.
In This Role You Will:
- Delivering best-in-class professional learning to educators both virtually and in-person
- Consulting with our Partnerships teams to ensure professional learning packages are aligned to meet the needs and budgets of our partners. (This includes making recommendations and creating scopes of work)
- Collaborating with our Partner Success teams to create thoughtful professional learning plans that align to partner expectations. (This includes recommending specific sessions and supporting the writing of implementation plans)
- Working closely with our professional learning facilitators by supporting their onboarding, training, and overall development
- Collaborating with our professional learning content managers to ensure Discovery Education’s sessions exceed industry standards and consistently resonate with teachers
- Assisting with professional learning content development as needed

Credentials and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in K-12 classrooms
- A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering professional development to K-12 teachers
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Willingness and ability to travel (from 50% up to 90% at seasonal peaks); overnight travel is expected
- Legal right to work in the United States
This role is designed to be remote in Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming, or Colorado. The pay range for this position is between $69,950 - $73,300 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
