We are hiring an experienced Producer/Senior Producer with Interactive and/or direct kids experience to join our amazing team. This is a high impact role that will collaborate across all departments and act as both the glue that holds things together as well as the little engine that could!
Is this role right for you? Do you thrive in a fast paced environment? Are you resilient, flexible and collaborative? Do you have a passion for bringing amazing experiences to children through your artistic and operational endeavors? We are looking for a self-starter, who approaches challenges creatively and methodically, seeing them through to final resolution. Additionally, we would like someone who is organized, a great communicator and collaborator, excels at creating and managing schedules, and wants to make a positive impact on others. You are a master at herding cats, goats, sheep and llamas!
What you'll do:

- Be the key day to day contact for projects, managing the production process in support of critical time sensitive deliverables; collaborating and coordinating ideation, project tracking, managing internal/external project communication and project deliverables.
- Work closely with both external partners and internal design, engineering, QA, marketing, customer support, and other teams to ensure success across multiple projects simultaneously
- Navigate roadblocks and successfully create solutions to keep projects on time with the desired quality.
- Analyze and track project development schedules, perform milestone reviews, track all submissions, and submit weekly written progress reports.
- Leverage BI data to make informed decisions supporting project goals.
- Provide strong leadership, inspire and motivate the team through personal example and enthusiasm.
- Responsible for triage, scope, and managing projects in Jira; keeping team on task for deliverables. Create reports for leadership team review.
- Help develop and drive continuous improvement in project management and production processes, tools, and best practices.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years experience in cutting edge, highly creative, evolving technologies; taking products from concept to release through multiple iterations.
- Be curious about… anything, and inspire and evoke curiosity, learning and exploration.
- Thrive on collaboration, design as an iterative process, and knowing the first idea isn’t always the best one.
- Great organizational skills and ability to understand team structures and roles, production pipelines, and common challenges in producing high-quality interactive children’s products.
- Strong understanding of children’s interactive media, literacy, or a keen interest to step into this space.
- Strong level of independence and efficiency with exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility with the changing priorities that come in a start-up environment.
- A practical understanding of post-production/live-service, bringing a creative eye and ability to effectively communicate interactive ideas and improvements.
- Proven success making confident, intelligent and difficult decisions which reflect a solid understanding of the business goals and strategies.
- Comfortable with in-development hardware/software, using pipelines and toolsets to install builds on multiple devices, playing to assess for content standards and fun factor, and developing action plans for teams to address issues and feedback.
- Expertise with Jira, Smartsheet or MS Project
