HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Senior Technical Program Manager, Milestone Execution to drive some of the company's most complex cross-functional programs and strategic milestones.

In this role, you’ll partner with leaders across vehicle development, systems engineering, software engineering, manufacturing, fleet operations, and business functions to plan, execute, and deliver critical company milestones that support product development, launch readiness, and operational scale.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution-focused, and experienced leading complex technical programs across diverse engineering and operational organizations.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Milestone Execution, you'll:
  • Lead execution of major company milestones, including defining milestone strategies, feature readiness plans, and release execution frameworks.
  • Partner with systems, vehicle, software, manufacturing, and operations teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive milestone delivery.
  • Define milestone success criteria, KPIs, and performance metrics that measure progress against business and program objectives.
  • Drive alignment and secure stakeholder buy-in on milestone goals, readiness criteria, and executive decision points.
  • Provide concise and effective communications to engineering leadership, senior management, and executive stakeholders regarding program status, risks, dependencies, and accomplishments.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks that could impact milestone delivery, product readiness, or operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, systems engineering, and operations teams to drive issue resolution and ensure critical blockers receive appropriate visibility and ownership.
  • Support release readiness activities, validation efforts, and cross-functional execution planning throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in program management processes, milestone tracking, reporting, and execution frameworks.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent engineering experience in lieu of a degree
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management, or related disciplines supporting product launches, validation, testing, or large-scale technical programs
  • Proven track record leading complex cross-functional programs across engineering and operational organizations
  • Experience supporting automotive, aerospace, robotics, autonomous vehicle, simulation, test platform, or verification and validation (V&V) programs
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, release management, validation activities, or systems integration processes
  • Proficiency with program management tools and methodologies, including Jira, Smartsheet, Gantt charts, risk management frameworks, and executive reporting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • This role will require safety boots that conform to ASTM F2412 / F2413 requirements

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program management certification
  • Experience supporting autonomous vehicle, robotics, simulation, test operations, automotive, or aerospace programs
  • Familiarity with vehicle platforms, software development lifecycles, safety validation processes, or large-scale test operations
  • Experience developing and scaling program management processes, reporting frameworks, operational procedures, and escalation mechanisms
