HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Technical Program Manager, PMO - Test Fleet Program (Contract), to support the planning, coordination, and utilization of a nationwide test fleet operating cutting-edge hardware and software platforms that enable future product milestones.
In this role, you’ll help drive the successful execution of critical technical programs by partnering with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to improve program visibility, optimize fleet utilization, and support the delivery of key company objectives.
The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and collaborative, with a strong interest in complex technical systems and a passion for driving cross-functional programs to successful outcomes.

As a Technical Program Manager, PMO - Test Fleet Program (Contract), you'll:
- Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to define, track, and manage key program deliverables across multiple initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize information from cross-functional stakeholders to create standardized program plans, reporting structures, and execution frameworks.
- Drive visibility into program health, risks, dependencies, and milestone progress through dashboards, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tooling, and reporting workflows that enhance program efficiency and decision-making.
- Support planning and execution activities related to fleet utilization, operational readiness, and technical milestone delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, resolve blockers, and ensure critical initiatives remain on track.
- Participate in technical and program reviews to help ensure deliverables align with strategic objectives and business goals.
- Build strong relationships across engineering, product, and operations organizations to drive effective communication and cross-functional execution.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical discipline
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives to completion
- Experience coordinating projects, programs, or cross-functional initiatives in technical environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Demonstrated curiosity and interest in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or complex software and hardware systems
- This role requires safety boots that conform to ASTM F2412 / F2413 requirements
Bonus Qualifications:
- Internship or professional experience in program management, operations, engineering, or a technology-focused environment
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, or process automation solutions
- Basic scripting, automation, or data analysis experience using Python, SQL, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting cross-functional engineering or product development programs
