Job description

HireArt is helping our client find a Technical Recruiter, Hardware (Contract) to manage the full recruiting lifecycle for a broad range of critical hardware-focused engineering positions across Vehicle Development, Advanced Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality & Reliability, and Manufacturing Operations.

In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic hiring partner and brand ambassador, working closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to attract, assess, and close top technical talent. You’ll help drive recruiting strategy, candidate experience, and pipeline development within a fast-paced, highly competitive engineering environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, consultative, relationship-driven, and passionate about building exceptional technical teams.

As a Technical Recruiter, Hardware (Contract), you'll:
  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for hardware and engineering-related positions, from intake through offer close.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Source, engage, and evaluate technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Screen resumes and conduct candidate assessments to evaluate technical qualifications and overall fit.
  • Facilitate interview coordination, candidate debriefs, and hiring decision discussions with interview teams and leadership stakeholders.
  • Manage offer negotiations and partner with hiring managers, HR, and leadership teams throughout the closing process.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience while representing the company’s brand and mission professionally.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and hiring progress within the ATS and recruiting systems.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within highly competitive industries
  • Experience recruiting for hardware, manufacturing, vehicle, or engineering-focused roles
  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and alternative sourcing techniques
  • Ability to evaluate candidates for both technical aptitude and behavioral alignment
  • Strong understanding of technical skill sets, engineering organizations, and relevant industry talent markets
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative partnership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities within fast-paced environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in autonomous vehicle, robotics, or electric vehicle technologies
  • Experience leveraging ATS platforms such as Lever to build recruiting metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines
  • Experience working within agency recruiting environments
  • Experience managing complex technical or highly specialized engineering searches
  • Experience partnering directly with senior hiring managers and engineering leadership teams
