HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Technical Program Manager to support its Autonomy team in delivering critical improvements across Perception, Prediction & Behavioral ML, TeleGuidance, Planning & Controls, and Collision Avoidance systems.
In this role, you’ll drive execution across complex cross-functional initiatives, helping engineering teams deliver against key technical and business objectives. You’ll support program planning, KPI tracking, risk management, and operational coordination across highly technical autonomy-focused programs.
The ideal candidate is organized, execution-oriented, collaborative, and experienced managing complex software or autonomy-related engineering initiatives within fast-paced environments.

As a Technical Program Manager, you'll:
- Partner with engineering managers and functional leads to translate high-level objectives into actionable roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive execution of complex cross-functional initiatives focused on improving autonomous driving behavior and system performance.
- Support the development, tracking, and reporting of driving behavior KPIs, metrics, and operational datasets.
- Identify program risks proactively and partner with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation and resolution plans.
- Coordinate program activities across engineering, product, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
- Create and deliver executive-facing program updates covering status, risks, milestones, and key accomplishments.
- Help improve program management processes, execution visibility, and operational efficiency across autonomy programs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
- 6+ years of program management experience with a focus on software development or technical engineering programs
- Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional projects and operational initiatives
- Experience working closely with engineering teams in fast-paced technical environments
- Proficiency with project and program management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Gantt charts, and risk tracking frameworks
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting AI/ML, autonomous vehicle, robotics, automotive, or aerospace engineering programs
- Familiarity with autonomous systems KPIs, operational metrics, and engineering performance measurements
- Experience working in high-growth startup, consulting, or contract-based technical environments
- Experience supporting large-scale software, systems, or operational improvement initiatives
