HireArt is helping Moritz identify an experienced US Partnerships Counsel to serve as the lead legal advisor for their growing tech partnerships and ecosystem strategy.
In this role, you'll be responsible for structuring, negotiating, and managing a wide range of strategic tech partnership agreements while helping build scalable legal frameworks that support long-term ecosystem growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong tech commercial legal expertise with a builder mindset and has experience supporting complex partnership programs within large technology, cloud, platform, or enterprise software organizations. Candidates must hold an active license in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as lead legal counsel for strategic partnerships, alliances, channel relationships, and ecosystem initiatives.
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of partnership agreements.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property, data usage rights, confidentiality, and regulatory considerations related to partnership programs.
- Support ongoing management and optimization of existing ecosystem and partner agreements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of legal experience, including significant in-house or outside counsel tech commercial and partnership counseling experience.
- Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing strategic tech partnership agreements and enterprise commercial contracts. Ideally with Big 4/major cloud platform experience
- Strong understanding of technology transactions, SaaS, cloud services, and platform business models
- Ability to independently lead complex negotiations with senior business stakeholders and external partners
- Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting major cloud ecosystems such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Alibaba Cloud, or other enterprise technology platforms
- Prior experience at a major technology company, cloud provider, consulting firm, or large-scale platform business.
- Experience building or scaling partnership programs
Commitment: This is a project-based, ongoing independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. The role is fully remote and open to U.S.-based candidates. Applicants must be licensed and in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
