HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software (Fleet Orchestration) to support the systems that manage autonomous vehicle operations and fleet efficiency.
In this role, you’ll help shape the fleet orchestration systems that govern both customer rides and operational vehicle trips, ensuring vehicles are in the right place at the right time while maintaining strong service and efficiency metrics. You’ll help define and prioritize the roadmap for fleet orchestration software, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and science teams, and help define metrics that measure system performance and operational health.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years of product management experience, including work with complex backend software. You bring strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the drive to thrive in a growing, complex organization.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software, you'll:
In this role, you’ll help shape the fleet orchestration systems that govern both customer rides and operational vehicle trips, ensuring vehicles are in the right place at the right time while maintaining strong service and efficiency metrics. As a Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software, you'll:
- Help define the systems that ensure our robots are in the right place at the right time
- Steward a software product line and curate its roadmap.
- Work closely with Engineering, Science, Technical Program Managers, and front-end Product Managers to refine and prioritize features and requirements
- Define, implement, and monitor metrics that measure the health and performance of these systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of product management experience
- 2+ years as product manager for complex backend software
- Experience driving collaboration, alignment, and affecting outcomes with influence instead of authority
- Direct experience with product lifecycle management
- Technical background – you can learn and understand Software development, and concepts such as back-end systems, web apps APIs, and technical tradeoffs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience stewarding products through their lifecycle in rideshare, supply chain, inventory management, or related spaces
- Experience partnering with science teams, including operations research groups
- Ability to develop and execute long-term plans in ambiguous environments
- Comfort operating within growing, complex organizations
- Ability to break down complex ideas and concepts into actionable solutions
