HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Technical Program Manager to support its sensor cleaning programs and drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and operations teams.
In this role, you’ll work closely with world-class engineers and stakeholders across hardware engineering, software, firmware, systems engineering, safety, product, and operations to support the successful execution of complex technical programs. You’ll help develop project schedules, manage risks, coordinate suppliers, track milestones, and communicate program progress to ensure strategic and tactical objectives are achieved.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll:
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll:
- Translate company strategy and milestones into detailed program roadmaps, timelines, deliverables, and execution plans.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, operations, and suppliers to ensure clear ownership, priorities, and delivery expectations.
- Manage external supplier relationships related to sensor cleaning systems, including technical requirements, development milestones, validation activities, and issue resolution.
- Lead program operations, including meeting coordination, action tracking, status reporting, documentation management, and stakeholder communications.
- Maintain program schedules, budgets, KPIs, and reporting dashboards while proactively identifying and mitigating risks and blockers.
- Support technical and operational decision-making by evaluating trade-offs, developing recommendations, and driving issue resolution across teams.
- Contribute to broader TPM operational initiatives, including quarterly planning, process improvements, issue tracking, and performance measurement activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or 8+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years in technical or engineering program management
- 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in hardware product development
- Proven track record managing complex cross-functional technical programs from concept through execution
- Experience managing and coordinating international suppliers and external partners
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced, and highly dynamic environments
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and context-switch effectively across technical and operational topics
- Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- This role will require safety boots that conform to ASTM F2412 / F2413 requirements
- Familiarity with requirements management platforms such as Polarion is preferred
Bonus Qualifications:
- PMP certification or equivalent project/program management certification
- Experience within autonomous vehicles, automotive, aerospace, simulation, or advanced test platform environments
- Experience supporting hardware development programs involving electronics, pneumatics, or hydraulic systems
