Job description

HireArt is looking for recruiters and staffing industry professionals who thrive in fun, challenging environments and are interested in playing a key role in growing an industry-changing company.

About HireArt
HireArt is a Y-Combinator backed end-to-end platform to source, employ, and manage a company’s W-2 contract workforce. We’ve helped hundreds of great companies including Toyota Research Institute, Facebook, Nasdaq, and Lyft build and manage amazing teams of W-2 contractors.

We're growing rapidly (Deloitte ranked us the 66th fastest growing technology company in 2020, and Inc. Magazine ranked us #223) and looking for a Recruiter to support the hiring needs of our growing roster of clients. We work with some of the world’s most respected companies, and our Recruitment team ensures they have access to the best contract talent available.

About the Role

As a Recruiter at HireArt, you will own the success of assigned roles from end to end. You’ll act as the “Role Owner,” responsible not only for sourcing and screening candidates, but for driving hiring outcomes through effective funnel management, stakeholder alignment, and recruiting strategy.

You’ll manage multiple candidate supply channels — including outbound sourcing, inbound applicants, and staffing partner (SP) supplied candidates — and adjust recruiting strategies based on the needs of the role and performance of the funnel.

Some roles may rely heavily on staffing partner support, while others may require hands-on outbound recruiting to establish pipeline momentum, hit early listing goals, or address supply gaps. Success in this role requires strong recruiting execution, operational ownership, analytical thinking, and proactive communication.

You’ll work closely with Account Managers, Staffing Partners, Candidate Operations, and hiring managers to ensure roles remain on track and hiring goals are achieved.
As a Recruiter at HireArt, you will:

  • Own full lifecycle recruiting outcomes for assigned roles, including:
  • First Listings SLA attainment
  • Shortlist generation goals
  • Funnel health and conversion
  • Headcount fulfillment
  • Build and execute recruiting strategies across outbound sourcing, inbound applicants, and staffing partner candidate pipelines.
  • Monitor funnel performance and proactively identify bottlenecks, conversion issues, pipeline risks, and candidate supply gaps.
  • Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates for open roles using internal tools and external sourcing channels.
  • Review inbound applications and staffing partner submissions to ensure alignment with evolving target profiles and hiring needs.
  • Analyze interview feedback, hiring manager signals, and conversion data to refine sourcing strategies and improve candidate quality.
  • Partner closely with staffing vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain strong candidate flow and alignment on priorities.
  • Own candidate communication and experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure job descriptions, role briefs, and candidate-facing materials remain accurate and up to date.
  • Communicate hiring progress, risks, insights, and process updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic recruiting partner to clients and internal teams on hiring trends, pipeline strategy, and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within staffing, agency, search, or high-volume hiring environments.
  • Proven experience owning recruiting outcomes across the full hiring lifecycle, including sourcing strategy, funnel management, stakeholder communication, and offer closing.
  • Strong outbound sourcing skills and experience recruiting for difficult, high-volume, or fast-moving roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting funnel metrics and ability to use data to diagnose issues and drive hiring decisions.
  • Experience managing multiple candidate supply channels simultaneously, including inbound applicants, outbound sourcing, and third-party staffing vendors.
  • Strong operational and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across candidates, hiring managers, clients, and external partners.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem solving.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with recruiting, operations, account management, and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with recruiting systems, operational tooling, and process-driven workflows.
  • BA/BS preferred but not required.
HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, which is why we are interested in every qualified candidate, regardless of their background, how they identify, or their inclusion in any protected class.

HireArt provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type. No person is unlawfully excluded from employment opportunities based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), age, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or other protected class.

HireArt will provide reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees who need them because of a disability or to practice or observe their religion, absent undue hardship, to the extent required by applicable law.

HireArt offers a benefits package that includes:
  • Generous Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrange ("ICHRA") allowance for reimbursement of medical premiums for employee, spouse and children
  • 100% employer-covered dental and vision insurance premiums employee, spouse, and children
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance for employee, spouse, and children
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Work-from-home support, including:
    • Workspace/home office set-up stipend
    • Company supplied Apple laptop
    • Phone/internet stipend
  • Uncapped PTO, including paid office holidays
  • 401(K) through Fidelity

Company description

HireArt is building the first full-stack platform for businesses to source, employ, and manage contract W-2 employees. Our employment platform is the world’s first fully-featured HRIS for the contract W-2 workforce, a massive and growing segment of the labor market. We combine hiring and employment in a single platform, creating a magical experience for businesses: search, interview, make offers, and manage workers, all in one place. Once on board, HireArt provides contract workers with a caring home base that comes with all of the benefits & support associated with permanent employment.

Our goal is to enable businesses to focus on the people who make up their workforce, instead of the tools to manage it. That's why we've developed a transparent and simple to use end-to-end platform that provides contract work opportunities with the security and stability of traditional W-2 employment while still giving businesses the flexibility they need to scale their workforces.
