Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find IT Operations Specialists to support its Technical Operations (TechOps) function within a real-time fusion center environment.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and improving the technical backbone of live operations within a fast-paced, mission-critical operations center. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to document workflows, analyze operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives across systems and infrastructure operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical documentation skills with hands-on experience supporting systems, networking, or real-time operational environments.

As an IT Operations Specialist, you'll:
  • Shadow and document live operational workflows, system dependencies, and technical interactions.
  • Analyze technical processes and identify operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to improve workflows and operational processes.
  • Draft clear technical documentation, process maps, and operational improvement recommendations.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support operational readiness and continuous improvement initiatives within a real-time operations environment.

Requirements

  • Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
    • Windows workstation support
    • Real-time operations or command-center environments
    • TCP/IP networking or systems administration
    • Web application or infrastructure troubleshooting
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, mission-critical operational environments
  • Ability to pass a background check for secure facility access
  • This role will require safety boots that conform to ASTM F2412 / F24

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a NOC, SOC, Fusion Center, or other 24/7 operations environment
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms
  • Experience collaborating with DevOps or Infrastructure teams
  • 5+ years of relevant technical operations experience

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Scottsdale, AZ area.

HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to-corp.
