  • Contribute to the design and evolution of network security architecture and best practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot security systems to ensure performance, reliability, and protection.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support secure infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Travel to Bay Area worksites as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer supporting production environments
  • 6+ years of experience in IT systems or application engineering/administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS network security services and architectures
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts across the OSI model
  • Knowledge of Layer 7 protection techniques and modern network security practices
  • Practical experience with PKI, cryptography, and certificate management
  • Experience with AWS networking components, including Transit Gateway, VPCs, Security Groups, and NACLs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to Bay Area worksites as needed

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
