HireArt is helping our client identify experienced Contract Lawyers to join a modern, high-performing legal platform built for today’s technology-driven business environment.

This is not a traditional law firm role. As part of the company's network, you’ll have the autonomy to select projects aligned with your expertise, manage your own schedule, and focus on delivering impactful legal work without the constraints of a conventional firm structure.

What You’ll Do
- Review, draft, and redline a variety of commercial agreements.
- Advise clients on contract terms, risk exposure, and negotiation strategies.
- Deliver precise, high-quality legal work with efficient turnaround times.
Requirements
- Active U.S. bar license in good standing (California or New York)
- 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contracts
- Experience at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel at a technology company
- Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance
Commitment: This is a project-based, ongoing independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. The role is fully remote and open to U.S.-based candidates. Applicants must be licensed and in good standing in California or New York.
