Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a Forklift Operator to join their Longueuil team.
In this role, you’ll support warehouse operations by assisting deployment drivers, mechanics, and internal teams to ensure efficient and seamless day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

In this role, you’ll support warehouse operations by assisting deployment drivers, mechanics, and internal teams to ensure efficient and seamless day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
As a Forklift Operator, you will:
- Assemble and set up bikes, scooters, and other equipment.
- Charge scooters and related equipment as needed.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing inventory, assisting with loading and unloading vans, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Support inventory management, including receiving and tracking materials.
- Safely operate and test bikes or scooters as needed for inspection purposes.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Excel) and experience using mobile applications
- Fluency in French
- Experience using ERP systems for receiving transactions and inventory movements (e.g., via electronic scanners)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
- Strict adherence to safety standards
- Must be fully vaccinated
Prior to start, candidates must have:
Safety footwear meeting ASTM standards (F2413-05, F2413-11, or F2413-18)
- Examples include Brahma Adan Steel Toe, Larnmern Women’s Work Shoes, and Larnmern Steel Toe styles (Men’s/Women’s).
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous warehouse experience
Commitment: This is a full-time, 3-month contract position (with the possibility of extension) staffed via HireArt. The role is onsite and available to candidates local to the Longueuil, Quebec, Canada area.
