Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a Scene QA Operator to join its team.
In this role, you’ll support dataset development for simulation, helping test software performance across a wide range of scenarios. You’ll work closely with internal teams and select customers to audit logs for content quality, accuracy, and usability within the simulation environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards
As a Scene QA Operator, you'll:
Generate Data:
In this role, you’ll support dataset development for simulation, helping test software performance across a wide range of scenarios. You’ll work closely with internal teams and select customers to audit logs for content quality, accuracy, and usability within the simulation environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards
As a Scene QA Operator, you'll:
Generate Data:
- Curate and validate data used in simulation evaluations.
- Identify gaps in data requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Develop expertise in the simulation pipeline to triage issues as they arise.
- Support analysis of pipeline-generated data as needed.
Strengthen Workflow:
- Create and maintain documentation to support processes and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
- Flag inconsistencies and propose solutions to improve processes.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify deficiencies and measure improvements.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in data entry, annotation, labeling, or similar roles
- Understanding of QA/QC fundamentals
- Experience owning or contributing to the quality of a process or system
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Jira
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams (e.g., JP/NA time zones)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing data and working with basic automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL)
- Background in automotive, technology, or simulation environments
- Basic skills in Python, SQL, or dashboarding tools (e.g., Mode)

Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is hybrid, requiring Tuesday-Thursday onsite in the Palo Alto, CA office, with flexibility in hours and day-to-day scheduling, and an expectation to overlap with core working hours between 9:15 AM and 3:00 PM for meetings.
