Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an Enterprise Data Governance Business Analyst (Manufacturing & AI) to build and scale a Manufacturing Data Control Tower.

In this role, you’ll leverage enterprise data, system signals, and AI to enable real-time visibility, actionable insights, and proactive decision-making across manufacturing operations. You’ll work across systems such as SAP and PLM (3DX) to connect data, identify risks, and drive AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and throughput. You’ll also lead AI-focused initiatives and support cross-functional program execution within Enterprise Data Governance (EDG).

The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional operator with experience in enterprise systems, data-driven initiatives, and emerging AI applications, who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.

As an Enterprise Data Governance Business Analyst (Manufacturing & AI), you'll:
  • Build and support data control tower capabilities, including dashboards, monitoring tools, and exception management workflows.
  • Enable cross-system visibility and alignment across platforms (e.g., PLM and ERP).
  • Drive AI initiatives in partnership with EDG leadership, including identifying use cases, prototyping solutions (agents, copilots, workflows), and scaling with IT and engineering teams.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional programs, including scope definition, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive automation of data workflows and improve data quality and governance processes.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Develop documentation, generate insights, and support stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in data, business analysis, program management, or enterprise systems
  • Experience with SAP and/or PLM systems (e.g., 3DX)
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain environments
  • Experience with AI/ML, automation, or data-driven initiatives, including prototyping use cases
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect and interpret data across systems
  • Familiarity with master data concepts (e.g., BOM, material, routing) preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong execution mindset with a sense of ownership
  • Curiosity and interest in applying AI to real-world business problems

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.

HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to-corp.
