HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a highly skilled Technical Program Manager - Autonomy to support cross-functional initiatives across Perception, Prediction & Behavioral ML, TeleGuidance, Planning & Controls, Mapping, and Collision Avoidance.
In this role, you’ll drive planning and execution of key autonomy programs, track performance metrics, and enable engineering teams to deliver on critical business objectives. This is a project-based role focused on improving autonomous driving behavior and system performance.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically fluent, and experienced in leading complex, cross-functional software programs.

As a Technical Program Manager - Autonomy, you'll:
- Partner with engineering managers and functional leads to translate high-level goals into actionable roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive execution of cross-functional initiatives focused on improving autonomous system performance.
- Support program development for TeleGuidance and Routing teams.
- Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Create and deliver executive-level updates on program status, risks, and key milestones.
- Drive autonomy software and mapping content releases in partnership with engineering teams.
- Standardize frameworks and automate processes to improve program execution and scalability.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of program management experience, preferably in software development environments
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects independently
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Gantt charts, risk tracking tools)
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AI/ML, autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or aerospace domains
- Familiarity with autonomy-related KPIs and engineering performance metrics
- Prior experience in contract or consulting roles within fast-paced tech environments
