HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Jira Admin - Web Developer to support engineering teams by optimizing tools, workflows, and processes across the development lifecycle.

In this role, you’ll focus on Jira administration, workflow optimization, automation, and dashboard development to enable teams to operate efficiently. You’ll play a key role in driving execution, improving visibility, and supporting engineering teams in delivering on critical business objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and experienced in Jira administration, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

As a Jira Admin - Web Developer, you'll:

Jira & Tooling Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Jira and Confluence support across the Autonomy team.
  • Configure and optimize Jira projects, including workflows, custom fields, screen schemes, and permissions.
  • Automate and integrate Jira with development tools to improve efficiency and traceability.
  • Promote best practices for Jira usage and hygiene across engineering teams.
  • Triage and resolve user-reported issues related to Jira and associated tools.
  • Support adoption and effective usage of Jira across teams.
  • Partner with PMO and stakeholders to continuously improve tooling and processes.
Process & Workflow Enablement:
  • Partner with engineering managers and functional leads to evaluate and improve existing workflows.
  • Document, refine, and standardize processes such as sprint planning, bug tracking, and feature development.
  • Support cross-functional process improvement initiatives through coordination and operational support.
Dashboarding & Reporting:
  • Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Jira dashboards, EazyBI, or similar tools) to provide visibility into program and team performance.
  • Define and track KPIs such as team velocity, cycle time, and defect trends.
  • Deliver regular reports summarizing status, risks, and key accomplishments.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar role in a software development environment
  • Strong proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), including advanced workflows, JQL, Jira Plans/Structures, and dashboard creation
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and using Jira to support sprint planning and backlog management
  • Experience integrating Jira with SDLC tools (e.g., Git) to automate workflows and improve traceability
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to train users
  • Ability to work independently and translate team needs into scalable, automated solutions

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Formal Jira administration experience or certification
  • Experience with BI tools such as EazyBI or similar
