Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Quality Technician, Receiving Quality to support receiving inspection and quality operations.

In this role, you’ll help ensure incoming materials meet defined quality standards through inspection, documentation, and process improvement. You’ll support quality management systems by conducting inspections, contributing to root cause analysis, and assisting with corrective actions while partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards across manufacturing and service operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in quality inspection within fast-paced manufacturing environments.

As a Quality Technician, Receiving Quality, you'll:
  • Perform part- and vehicle-level inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Process incoming materials and validate conformance to established quality standards.
  • Document procedures, inspection results, and work instructions.
  • Support the creation and reporting of quality metrics across NPI, manufacturing, and service operations.
  • Enter and manage test and inspection data in systems such as SAP and Jira.
  • Assist with root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and validation.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace preferred)
  • Experience performing quality inspections based on control plans
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis, problem-solving, and quality control methods
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience inspecting electrical components (e.g., wire harnesses)
  • Experience using SAP and/or Jira
  • Background in automotive, software, contract manufacturing, or customer-facing environments
