  • Define program plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Coordinate analyses, experiments, and test campaigns that support architecture definition, requirements development, and system validation.
  • Proactively identify risks and blockers, perform root cause analysis, and drive solutions while communicating impacts across stakeholders.
  • Establish program structure and business rhythms, including status reporting, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Foster collaboration and consensus-building across teams, encouraging diverse perspectives and maintaining a strong team culture.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in hardware program management or engineering management, supporting HW/SW integration in development environments
  • Proven experience executing the systems engineering V-model and driving requirements from concept through validation
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Gantt charts)
  • Strong ability to operate in matrixed organizations and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with the ability to build structure and drive clarity in complex programs

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience with requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., JAMA, DOORS, Polarion)
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, SOTIF)
  • Experience with automotive testing standards and sensor validation frameworks

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week onsite, and is open to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
