HireArt is helping our client find a Technical Program Manager (Energy & Thermal Integration) to partner with a cross-functional team of engineers across robotics, controls, and vehicle engineering to deliver vehicle performance through physical testing, simulation, and integrated development methodologies.
In this role, you’ll drive alignment, planning, and execution across Energy and Thermal Integration teams, ensuring development milestones, system performance goals, and cross-functional dependencies are clearly defined, tracked, and delivered.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically fluent in vehicle development, and experienced in managing complex, cross-functional programs across hardware and software domains.
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll:
As a Technical Program Manager, you'll:
- Drive alignment of development plans across Energy & Thermal Integration, Software, Vehicle Programs, and PMO teams by structuring workstreams in Jira (task lists, Gantt views, dependencies, and milestone tracking).
- Guide attribute teams in building and maintaining integrated hardware and software development plans, tracking progress, identifying risks, and escalating deviations as needed.
- Maintain program-level visibility through weekly updates (e.g., heatmaps, dashboards) and ensure alignment with vehicle attribute leadership.
- Support budget planning by coordinating forecasts across engineering, test, simulation, and software teams and tracking variances against actuals.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings, including agenda setting, documentation of notes and action items, and follow-up to ensure timely execution.
- Track and drive resolution of vehicle performance issues, ensuring gaps are addressed with robust, cross-functional solutions.
- Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers, particularly across energy and thermal system interactions.
- Lead engineering change management through formal processes, ensuring proper documentation, impact assessment, and timely implementation.
- Improve program execution through better documentation, reporting, and process standardization across teams.
- Support visibility into vehicle configurations, retrofit status, and overall program deliverables, timelines, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering with 4+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle development
- Strong understanding of the vehicle development lifecycle, including hardware and software validation
- Proficiency with program and issue management tools (Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
