HireArt is helping our client find a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive operational efficiency, automation, and reliability across ADAS infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll focus on building scalable automation, robust monitoring, and secure infrastructure practices to support a growing tenant engineering ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with a West Coast DevOps counterpart, a Japan-based DevOps team, and multiple ADAS engineering groups (including Production Tooling, Developer Efficiency, and Simulation/Evaluation) to reduce manual overhead, ensure system integrity, and maintain high availability across environments.
The ideal candidate is an automation-first engineer with strong cloud and infrastructure experience who thrives in distributed, high-uptime environments.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll:
- Identify manual processes and implement automation to streamline workflows, reduce deployment times, and minimize operational overhead.
- Deploy, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure (S3, Aurora/Postgres, IAM, Route 53, WAF, CloudFront) using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Build and maintain monitoring and observability systems to track application performance and infrastructure health, supporting 99.5% uptime targets.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to ensure consistent and reliable software delivery across ADAS environments.
- Apply critical security patches and core updates within defined SLAs, and communicate security advisories to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Provide extended North America coverage for SEV-1 and SEV-2 incidents, supporting incident response during peak periods.
- Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity across global teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and cluster management
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including core services, IAM, and cloud networking concepts
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar tools for infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK stack)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices, including secure deployments, vulnerability scanning, and incident response
- Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience working in multi-tenant or enterprise-scale platforms
- Experience with backup/restore automation and disaster recovery processes
- Familiarity with Nx monorepo tooling and multi-tenant architectures
