Job description

HireArt is helping our client find a Supply Chain Cost Program Manager to join the team.

In this role, you’ll own the integrity, structure, and scalability of cost data across Direct Procurement. You’ll lead the evolution from manual tracking to a systems-driven approach, building the foundation for accurate, real-time cost visibility across production and NPI programs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and systems thinking, capable of establishing a reliable source of truth while partnering cross-functionally with Sourcing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams.

As a Supply Chain Cost Program Manager, you'll:
  • Own and maintain the source of truth for cost data across production and NPI programs.
  • Design and implement scalable processes and systems to track, manage, and report cost data.
  • Partner with Sourcing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing to ensure cost alignment across the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze cost drivers and variances, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
  • Define requirements and support the implementation of supply chain and financial systems (e.g., ERP, cost tracking tools).
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into cost performance and trends.
  • Support NPI programs by establishing early cost baselines and tracking cost evolution through production.
  • Improve data quality, consistency, and governance across tools, processes, and teams.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business analytics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain cost management, procurement operations, or FP&A within a hardware or manufacturing environment
  • Experience defining requirements for and implementing supply chain or financial systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, index/match, query)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify cost drivers

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
  • Experience in automotive or high-tech hardware environments with complex BOM structures
  • Familiarity with NPI (New Product Introduction) cycles and cost transitions from development to production

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.

HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to-corp.
