Job description
HireArt is helping our client find an IT Operations Specialist to support the Technical Operations (TechOps) function within a real-time Fusion Center environment in Scottsdale, AZ.
In this role, you’ll observe, document, and improve live operational workflows that support critical systems. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the technical backbone of real-time operations by identifying inefficiencies, mapping system dependencies, and helping drive process improvements across teams. This role is fully onsite in a secure facility.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking and documentation skills with hands-on technical experience in systems, networking, or operational environments.

As an IT Operations Specialist, you'll:
- Shadow live operations to document workflows, system interactions, and dependencies.
- Map technical processes and identify bottlenecks, gaps, or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering to improve workflows.
- Create clear, structured documentation and recommend process improvements.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong technical documentation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Windows workstation support
- Real-time operations or command center environments
- TCP/IP networking or systems administration
- Web application or infrastructure troubleshooting
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a NOC, SOC, or similar 24/7 operations environment
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms
- Experience collaborating with DevOps or Infrastructure teams
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience
