Job description

HireArt is helping our client find Mobility Fleet Mechanics to support maintenance operations and ensure the reliability and availability of bikes and scooters across service locations.

In this role, you’ll perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fleet vehicles while contributing to overall operational excellence. You may also support coordination efforts across the team and help improve maintenance processes and data tracking.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment. You take pride in maintaining equipment quality and are proactive in identifying and solving issues.

As a Mobility Fleet Mechanic, you'll:
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on bikes and scooters to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Support and improve field service processes, including maintenance workflows and repair standards.
  • Document maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve data collection and issue tracking.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure fleet readiness and address service needs efficiently.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience as a bicycle or scooter mechanic
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with operations teams
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods
  • Ability to ride and operate a bike, scooter, or similar mobility equipment
