Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a Finance Operation Analyst to support procurement and accounting compliance by ensuring purchase requisitions align with internal policies and U.S. GAAP standards.
In this role, you’ll review and structure purchase requisitions and purchase orders, partner with business stakeholders to gather required information, and help maintain consistency and accuracy across financial processes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and an effective communicator who can work cross-functionally to ensure compliance and drive process clarity.
As a Finance Operation Analyst, you'll:
As a Finance Operation Analyst, you'll:
- Review purchase requisitions (PRs) to ensure proper structure, commodity coding, and general ledger alignment in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Partner with business owners to gather additional details and resolve discrepancies.
- Review agreements and contracts to ensure accurate PR and PO structure and coding.
- Update and restructure PRs and POs to align with evolving policies and requirements.
- Guide business stakeholders and internal teams on PR processes and compliance standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8-10 years of experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Experience with spend management tools such as SAP Ariba or Coupa
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in a mid-sized startup or public company environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing or fulfillment accounting operations
