Job description
HireArt is helping our client find focused Class A CDL Drivers (Hazmat Endorsement) to support overnight transportation of hazardous materials.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting materials during overnight shifts while ensuring full compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has experience handling hazardous materials, is comfortable with night driving, and can operate multiple trailer types with a strong commitment to safety and reliability.
Available Shifts
- Sunday - Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Average schedule: 40 regular hours + 8 hours overtime
As a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat Endorsement), you'll:
As a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat Endorsement), you'll:
- Safely transport hazardous materials during overnight routes.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including flatbeds, refrigerated trailers (reefers), and dry vans.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state DOT regulations, including Texas-specific requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding routes, delays, or issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience driving hazardous materials
- 2+ years of nighttime driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Classes 6 & 9)
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Experience operating flatbeds, refrigerated trailers (reefers), and dry vans
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, including Texas compliance requirements
- Reliable and comfortable working overnight schedules
