Job description

HireArt is helping our client find a Payroll Analyst to support accurate and timely payroll processing across the organization.

In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll operations while supporting month-end close activities under the guidance of the senior payroll manager. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience related to payroll.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in payroll processing within a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of payroll compliance, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with both employees and internal stakeholders.

As a Payroll Analyst, you'll:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, timecard validation, and payroll distribution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate employee, payment, and timekeeping records.
  • Partner with People, Benefits, Finance, and other teams to support payroll operations and related processes.
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including communication and reconciliations.
  • Respond to government inquiries such as wage verifications and garnishment orders.
  • Assist with benefits audits and coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Calculate and process leave of absence payments.
  • Support additional payroll-related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience with Workday Payroll
  • Strong knowledge of payroll administration and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
