Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a Payroll Analyst to support accurate and timely payroll processing across the organization.
In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll operations while supporting month-end close activities under the guidance of the senior payroll manager. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience related to payroll.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in payroll processing within a fast-paced environment. You have a strong understanding of payroll compliance, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with both employees and internal stakeholders.
As a Payroll Analyst, you'll:
As a Payroll Analyst, you'll:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, timecard validation, and payroll distribution.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate employee, payment, and timekeeping records.
- Partner with People, Benefits, Finance, and other teams to support payroll operations and related processes.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including communication and reconciliations.
- Respond to government inquiries such as wage verifications and garnishment orders.
- Assist with benefits audits and coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Calculate and process leave of absence payments.
- Support additional payroll-related tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience with Workday Payroll
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
