HireArt is helping our client find an Engineering Technicians to support the development of electronic hardware for automotive applications.
In this role, you’ll support rapid prototyping and low-volume hardware assembly, enabling fast design iterations during product development.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to follow technical instructions closely while adhering to established processes. You work well independently on routine tasks, bring a proactive mindset, and are enthusiastic about contributing to engineering development in a fast-paced environment.
As an Engineering Technician, you'll:
As an Engineering Technician, you'll:
- Assist engineers during the development of new products to help optimize manufacturing processes.
- Support the development of solutions and alternative assembly techniques to resolve technical issues.
- Accurately assemble and test a variety of electronic hardware, from engineering prototypes through short-run production.
- Perform as a quality delegate by inspecting work completed by other technicians in the engineering lab.
- Perform final product testing in accordance with written procedures.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assignments safely and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly and accurately regarding work progress, issues, and results.
- Maintain a consistent record of attendance and punctuality.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment organized, clean, and properly maintained.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- Experience working with product development teams in a low-volume manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and general computer proficiency for data entry and online systems
- Proficiency using standard assembly tools such as cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, pin insertion/removal tools, and torque tools
- Hands-on lab experience with equipment such as power supplies, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
- IPC-610, IPC-620, or JSTD-10 certification
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills

- Technical training such as soldering certification, trade school coursework, or on-the-job technical training
