HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development find a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join its team.
In this role, you’ll support day-to-day corporate accounting operations, assist with the month-end close process, and help implement systems and processes that support scalable growth. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll:
- Prepare journal entries and support day-to-day corporate accounting activities while assisting with the month-end close process to ensure timely, accurate, and U.S. GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Build or enhance balance sheet account reconciliation workpapers, including reviewing and cleaning up historical reconciliations and related balances.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on metrics, flux analysis, forecasts, and projections, and support preparation of the monthly reporting package.
- Prepare documentation supporting internal and external audits and help ensure successful completion of audit requirements.
- Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes to streamline close processes and build scalable accounting solutions.
- Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce close timelines.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen internal controls related to assigned accounting areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; a combination of public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred) and industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end and year-end close processes
- Experience supporting financial audit preparation
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; project management experience is a plus
Bonus Qualifications:
- Direct accounting experience in one or more of the following areas: accruals, investments, internally developed software, ASC 842 leases, cloud computing arrangements, stock-based compensation, consolidation, or foreign currency accounting
- Experience with SQL and financial systems such as NetSuite, FloQast, Coupa, or Jira
