Job description

HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development find a highly motivated Senior Revenue Accountant to join its team.

In this role, you’ll support the month-end close process, assist with deal reviews, and maintain revenue accounts in accordance with U.S. GAAP. You will play an integral role in day-to-day revenue accounting operations within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates the highest ethical standards and is experienced in handling highly confidential information. You bring strong analytical skills, an eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset, along with a willingness to take initiative and contribute wherever needed.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll:
  • Assist with monthly revenue and commissions close activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards under ASC 606.
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under U.S. GAAP.
  • Collaborate with the revenue operations and finance teams on revenue metrics, flux analysis, forecasts, and projections.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to support scalability as the company continues to grow.
  • Prepare revenue-related schedules and documentation for external auditors.
  • Support the order-to-cash cycle, including accounts receivable and customer invoicing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field; CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting experience; public accounting experience required
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and solid analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • U.S. citizenship due to U.S. government security clearance processing
  • Experience with NetSuite, SalesForce is a plus
