As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll:

  • Manage development timelines and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to mature designs and support vehicle builds.
  • Support vehicle bring-up and test activities.
  • Manage and maintain BOM documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design using 3D CAD, including supporting analyses (stress, thermal, mass, tolerance, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of material properties, fabrication methods, and design for manufacturability
  • Experience taking products or assemblies from concept through production, including working with external suppliers
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5, V6, or 3DEXPERIENCE
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or other safety-critical industries
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
