Job description
HireArt is helping our client find a Systems Administrator to support a domain name change preparation project within the North America time zone.
In this role, you’ll maintain business-as-usual (BAU) operations while leading identity-focused analysis to ensure a smooth and secure domain transition.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in identity systems, and comfortable balancing project work with daily operational responsibilities.
As a Systems Administrator, you'll:
As a Systems Administrator, you'll:
- Analyze the impact of UPN and email domain changes across systems and applications.
- Review applications (Groups 1, 2, and 3) to determine how users are matched (Object ID, UPN, email).
- Document identity dependencies across Entra ID and connected services.
- Validate attribute updates flowing from SuccessFactors into Entra ID.
- Identify risks, required updates, and remediation steps for systems relying on UPN or email attributes.
- Partner with application owners to confirm current authentication behavior and required changes.
- Provide clear analysis and findings to the project lead.
- Maintain day-to-day SysAdmin operations to ensure continuity of core services.
- Manage identity-related tasks, including account updates, access troubleshooting, and group management.
- Support administration across Windows, Microsoft 365, and core IT infrastructure.
- Investigate and resolve authentication and account-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date BAU documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Entra ID administration experience, including SAML/OIDC authentication flows
- Strong understanding of Entra ID identity attributes (UPN, proxy addresses, Object ID)
- Experience evaluating how applications match users and how identity changes impact access
- Solid troubleshooting experience across Windows, Microsoft 365, and enterprise systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SCIM-based provisioning
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors-driven identity updates
- Prior involvement in domain or identity transition projects
- Business-level Japanese proficiency
