You’ll serve as a key operational partner to the People team, staying on top of multiple moving parts, helping the team meet deadlines, and ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, service-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

As a People Operations Coordinator, you'll:
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee inquiries, and records management across the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including offer letters, I-9 verifications, E-Verify, documentation collection, and new hire orientation logistics.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding People policies and programs such as PTO, leave of absence, benefits, and wellness offerings.
  • Create, update, and maintain HR process documentation and internal knowledge resources.
  • Manage electronic employee files with discretion and confidentiality, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Process employment verifications and support compliance-related documentation requests.
  • Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, people operations, or a related administrative function
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Experience working with Workday HCM
  • Experience with Lever, DocuSign, and Google Workspace
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is hybrid (requiring three days per week onsite) and is available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.

HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to-corp.
