The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable driving cross-functional execution in fast-paced operational environments.

As a Program Manager, you'll:

  • Lead the timely resolution of rework and containment activities, coordinating vehicle availability, technician capacity, work instructions, and parts readiness across teams.
  • Maintain high fleet uptime to maximize revenue-generating service operations and R&D testing throughput.
  • Own and continuously improve maintenance and repair process flows, including defining KPIs to measure speed, efficiency, and outcomes.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies within maintenance and repair workflows, partnering cross-functionally to implement solutions that reduce downtime and improve service quality.
  • Develop long-term operational support plans aligned with vehicle build schedules, including parts demand forecasting and technician headcount planning.
  • Partner with engineering teams to plan and execute the decommissioning of retired fleet vehicles.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong time-management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations
  • Working knowledge of health and safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucidchart, and Google Workspace
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the automotive or mobility industry
  • 3+ years of people or cross-functional leadership experience

Benefits:

  • Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
