Job description
HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Quality Technician, Receiving Quality to support the development and execution of processes that ensure incoming products and materials meet defined quality standards and specifications.
In this role, you’ll perform inspections, document findings, and support process improvements within receiving quality operations. You’ll help maintain quality management systems by conducting audits, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold high manufacturing and service standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and electronic components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Quality Technician, Receiving Quality, you'll:
As a Quality Technician, Receiving Quality, you'll:
- Perform part-level inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Process incoming material and validate conformance to quality requirements.
- Document procedures, work instructions, and inspection results.
- Support metric creation and reporting to demonstrate quality status.
- Enter inspection and test data into SAP and Jira systems.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation and validation.
- Support continuous improvement activities across receiving quality operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Develop inspection plans for visual, functional, and dimensional checks across a wide range of parts, including injection-molded components, castings, 3D-printed parts, PCBAs, and electrical sub-assemblies.
- Perform metrology tasks using CMM equipment as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace preferred)
- Mechanical, electrical, or electronics inspection background with proficiency in precision measurement tools
- Experience defining and executing inspection criteria for molded, cast, 3D-printed, PCBA, and electrical sub-assembly components
- Experience performing quality inspections based on control plans
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience using SAP and/or Jira
- Industry background in automotive, manufacturing, software, or contract manufacturing
