HireArt is helping our client find a Test Technician, EE Systems Integration Lab to support the team responsible for ensuring that electrical, electronic, and mechatronic systems are defined, specified, manufactured, integrated, and tested into systems and vehicles with a maximum of reliability and performance.
In this role, you’ll work with a high-performance team at the cutting edge of integrating and testing our complex electrical systems. You will work with system owners, firmware developers, test engineers, and other technicians to operate Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test assets. You will also aid in the building of HIL test assets with visible craftsmanship and deep pride in the end product.
The ideal candidate has experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems and working with EE lab equipment (digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.).
As a Test Technician you'll:
In this role, you’ll work with a high-performance team at the cutting edge of integrating and testing our complex electrical systems. You will work with system owners, firmware developers, test engineers, and other technicians to operate Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test assets. You will also aid in the building of HIL test assets with visible craftsmanship and deep pride in the end product.
The ideal candidate has experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems and working with EE lab equipment (digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.).
As a Test Technician you'll:
- Learn to operate and support teams to test on hardware-in-the-loop electrical systems.
- Work with test requesters to assure successful performance evaluations.
- Flash firmware on vehicle components with changes and updates tracking.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Assemble electro-mechanical systems and test fixtures.
- Fabricate and pin out wiring harnesses from the schematic.
- Fabricate and assemble test fixtures from CAD and drawings.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in electrical/electronics technology, or equivalent
- Understanding hardware-in-the-loop electrical systems and their purpose for testing efforts
- Experience assembling and testing electromechanical systems
- Experience reading schematics and assembling or repairing wiring harnesses
- Experience with EE lab equipment (digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux command-line interface and Linux file topology
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
- Previous experience with CAN network
