HireArt is helping our client find Robot Operators to join its team at an early and exciting stage of the company’s growth. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, product, and research. Your feedback will directly influence product direction, system capabilities, and operational workflows.

As a Robot Operator, you will:

As a Robot Operator, you will:
- Safely operate physical and simulated robotic prototypes for extended periods of time using virtual reality headsets and controllers.
- Collect data to improve the company's models by demonstrating tasks and evaluating autonomous behavior.
- Execute data collection missions on onsite company and offsite deployed locations.
- Provide clear, accurate, and actionable feedback to engineering and development teams to support product improvement and issue resolution.
- Represent the company and its technology in a professional manner when interacting with customers, partners, or investors.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on robotic systems.
- Set up, tear down, and maintain robot testing equipment and environments.
- Operate company vehicles to transport equipment between onsite and offsite locations.
- Participate in projects to improve tools, workflows, or operational processes.
Requirements
- Ability to work for extended periods using a virtual reality (VR) headset, with sufficient spatial awareness to safely operate robotic systems
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Proficiency using Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems and office productivity tools
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to safely operate company vehicles
- Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. citizenship required for this role due to business or legal requirements)
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Flexibility to work varying schedules is required and may include different shifts, extended hours, evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs
- Ability to travel quarterly or as business needs require. Travel may be requires the first week for training in Cambridge, MA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with video gaming, virtual reality systems, or remote-operated platforms (e.g., drones, robotics, or similar technologies)
- Demonstrated proficiency through competitions, public portfolios, streaming platforms, or other verifiable experience
- Familiarity with command-line interfaces, GitHub or version-controlled environments
