HireArt is helping our client find a Manufacturing Technician - EOL to support vehicle-level testing and validation of autonomous vehicles as they progress through final manufacturing and deployment readiness.
In this role, you’ll execute comprehensive End-of-Line testing, troubleshoot complex vehicle issues, and collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure vehicles meet quality, safety, and performance standards before release.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable working hands-on with autonomous vehicle systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Manufacturing Technician - EOL, you'll:
As a Manufacturing Technician - EOL, you'll:
- Perform comprehensive end-of-line (EOL) vehicle-level functional testing, including spending ~50% of time driving vehicles under autonomous control to support validation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware issues; generate mission logs and Zero Problem Tickets (ZPTs), escalate blockers, and follow through on resolution.
- Execute vehicle bring-up procedures, including required software/firmware updates, and support early testing on new vehicle platforms (e.g., L3, VH6) where processes may be undefined.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to validate fixes, develop manufacturing AST work instructions, and improve testing processes.
- Communicate clearly in Slack and cross-functional forums, providing timely updates, summaries, and feedback on testing status and issues.
- Support vehicle movement, transportation logistics, and general shop operations while maintaining a clean, organized workspace in compliance with EHS standards.
- Identify and propose improvements to quality, efficiency, and safety; demonstrate flexibility through cross-training and support of evolving processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or a closely related technical environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams
- Experience using diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Technical aptitude across software, firmware, and hardware domains
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving ability and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or trade training
- Experience in manufacturing, testing, or R&D environments
- Familiarity with autonomous systems or ADAS
- Experience with tools such as GitHub, TestRail, or similar tracking systems
Work Environment:
This role is based in manufacturing and vehicle testing environments. Flexibility is required to support changing priorities, occasional downtime, and cross-team needs to meet production and testing schedules. All manufacturing safety policies must be followed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing or shop environment for extended periods
