Job description
HireArt is helping our client hire a Regional Robot Service Lead to oversee and coordinate robot service operations across multiple sites in and around New Jersey.
In this role, you’ll combine hands-on mechanical expertise with people leadership and operational ownership to ensure consistent service quality, safety, and uptime across the region.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, field-oriented leader who enjoys balancing technical problem-solving with team development and operational execution.

As a Regional Robot Service Lead, you'll:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day robot service and maintenance operations across multiple regional sites.
- Ensure consistent service quality, safety compliance, and operational uptime at all locations.
- Manage, train, and support service technicians and site leads, setting clear expectations and standards.
- Develop and optimize service workflows, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electromechanical issues as needed, providing hands-on support.
- Coordinate parts inventory, tooling, and equipment readiness across sites.
- Serve as the primary regional point of contact for robot service operations.
- Travel frequently between sites to provide on-site leadership, audits, and operational support.
- Partner with central operations, engineering, and safety teams to implement process improvements and technical updates.
- Track key performance metrics and provide regular reporting on service health, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical service environments (automotive, fleet maintenance, industrial equipment, robotics, or similar)
- 3+ years of people management experience leading technicians or service teams; multi-site oversight strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in dynamic, field-based environments
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across teams
- Exposure to robotics, autonomous systems, or advanced vehicle technologies is preferred
