Job description
HireArt is helping our client find an Oracle FDI Developer/Analyst to design, build, and scale Finance Data Intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across Finance and Procurement functions.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, and Procurement teams to translate business requirements into well-structured Oracle FDI data models, dashboards, and self-service analytics. You’ll own the full lifecycle, from discovery and development through go-live, enablement, and iteration.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, business-minded analyst who translates finance requirements into scalable analytics solutions, communicates clearly across teams, and owns delivery in fast-moving environments.
As an Oracle FDI Developer/Analyst, you'll:
In this role, you’ll partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, and Procurement teams to translate business requirements into well-structured Oracle FDI data models, dashboards, and self-service analytics. You’ll own the full lifecycle, from discovery and development through go-live, enablement, and iteration.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, business-minded analyst who translates finance requirements into scalable analytics solutions, communicates clearly across teams, and owns delivery in fast-moving environments.
As an Oracle FDI Developer/Analyst, you'll:
- Lead business discovery and requirements workshops with FP&A, accounting, and procurement stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Map financial KPIs (e.g., revenue, COGS, Opex, cash flow, AP/AR aging, PO cycle times) to source systems and Oracle FDI subject areas.
- Design and implement data models, pipelines, and semantic layers within Oracle Finance Data Intelligence.
- Build and configure dashboards, reports, and self-service datasets.
- Implement drill paths, prompts, filters, row-level security, and data entitlements.
- Establish data quality checks and maintain technical and business documentation.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and manage migrations to production environments.
- Run demos and showcases for finance leadership and business stakeholders, incorporating feedback through rapid iteration.
- Create enablement materials, including playbooks, KPI definitions, training guides, and release notes, to drive adoption and self-service analytics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Oracle Financial Data Intelligence (FDI)
- Experience partnering with FP&A, Accounting, and Procurement to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions
- Strong understanding of financial KPIs, including revenue, COGS, operating expenses, cash flow, AP/AR aging, and procurement cycle times
- Proven experience designing data models, semantic layers, dashboards, and self-service datasets in Oracle FDI
- Experience configuring drill paths, filters, row-level security, and data entitlements
- Experience mapping business metrics to source systems and validating data quality
- Experience conducting UAT and managing production deployments
- Strong documentation and organizational skills, including creation of training materials and playbooks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, Procurement)
- Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Cloud, OTBI, or Oracle Business Intelligence
- Background partnering directly with FP&A teams on budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning
- Experience with data integration tools or Oracle Integration Cloud
- Prior experience in a consulting or systems integrator environment
- Experience working with multinational or global finance teams
- Experience driving self-service analytics adoption across organizations
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices
- CBAP, PMP, or Oracle certifications
