HireArt is helping our client find a Material Handler to join its team.
In this role, you’ll support daily warehouse and inventory operations by organizing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and preparing shipments. You’ll work closely with the logistics and operations teams to fulfill part requests, support shipping and receiving activities, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

As a Material Handler, you will:
As a Material Handler, you will:
- Contribute to the orderly operation of the stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Identifying, labeling, and cataloging items in designated storage locations. This includes conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure record accuracy.
- Locate and pack materials for shipping internationally and domestically.
- Document materials and record units delivered and location of units.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Operate pallet jacks to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
- Observe and participate in process improvement activities and support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Fulfill part requests within the team's designated SLA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior material handling or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with data entry and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Process improvement mindset and willingness to participate in operational enhancements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
