  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all topics related to the Vehicle Systems Engineering budget.
  • Track purchase orders, ensure goods receipts and invoices are properly recorded, and maintain accurate spend visibility.
  • Provide regular reporting on budget actuals versus forecast, and adjust projections for the remainder of the budget year.
  • Partner with finance controllers to resolve discrepancies, close gaps, and address open budget questions.
  • Align budget status with individual budget owners and maintain consistent communication across teams.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting tools, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial management or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, or operational finance
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with SAP to track purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice flows
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, including shared dashboards, permissions management, and version control
  • Experience creating clear, data-driven presentations in Google Slides, including variance explanations, comparison tables, waterfalls, and Pareto-style analyses
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to technical and executive stakeholders

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins 90 days after start date)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment:This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
