Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Communications & Change Management Consultant to support its Indirect Procurement and Transformation Enablement teams.

In this role, you will develop clear, effective internal communications and build well-organized content that helps employees understand how to engage with procurement. You’ll improve process visibility, migrate and structure critical information, and support change initiatives tied to new tools, policies, and workflows.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-directed communicator who excels at simplifying complex information, organizing fragmented content into usable structures, and driving stakeholder adoption. Procurement-specific experience is not required; the team will provide the subject-matter expertise, but strong internal communication and change-management skills are essential.

What You'll Do

Internal Communication & Stakeholder Enablement
  • Develop and execute internal communication plans that clarify procurement processes, policies, tools, and engagement pathways.
  • Ensure stakeholders know how and when to interact with procurement by providing transparent, easy-to-follow guidance.
  • Create clear messaging around new tools, system updates, and process changes.
Content Creation, Organization, & Knowledge Management
  • Build and launch a new internal webpage that consolidates direct and indirect procurement information.
  • Migrate and reorganize content from Confluence into a coherent, intuitive structure.
  • Create and maintain training guides, how-to resources, process documentation, and other internal content.
  • Connect fragmented information across teams, ensuring stakeholders have a single, reliable source of truth.
Change Management & Training Support
  • Develop communication plans and training collateral for new procurement tools and workflows.
  • Keep training materials up to date as processes evolve.
  • Drive stakeholder understanding and adoption by making complex information simple, consumable, and actionable.
Program & Project Operations
  • Manage multiple communication work streams with autonomy, operating proactively in a small, fast-paced team.
  • Build templates, workflows, and scalable processes for ongoing communication support.
  • Partner closely with procurement leadership to ensure clarity, alignment, and consistent messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of internal or corporate communications experience in a dynamic environment
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex information
  • Experience creating and maintaining intranet or Confluence pages, including structuring and organizing content
  • Demonstrated experience supporting organizational change, new tool rollouts, or process adoption
  • Self-directed, proactive operator who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Experience producing training content (e.g., guides, documentation, micro-learning, videos)
  • Ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Familiarity with change-management communication frameworks is a plus

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (eligibility begins 90 days after start date)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite, and is available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.

HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas or employ corp-to-corp.
