Job description

HireArt is helping our client find Robotics Data Collectors to play a pivotal role in iterating on its AI system by producing high-quality, robust data across a wide range of tasks.

In this role, you will directly influence the performance of robotic arms, helping them become more accurate and efficient. You’ll work closely with engineering and research teams to ensure collected data meets the highest quality and task standards.

The ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments and enjoy detailed, precision-driven work.

Available Shifts:
Monday-Friday
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
Weekends are optional and may be offered as overtime based on business needs.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manually control robot arms to perform a diverse range of tasks (teleoperation).
  • Maintain data integrity by ensuring recorded data is annotated correctly.
  • Produce detailed reports on robot performance to support data analysis and task iteration.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand and move for long periods of time
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with robotic systems, teleoperation, or related fields
  • Experience with data annotation tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with safety protocols in a lab or industrial setting
  • Basic working knowledge of computer software interfaces and tools (e.g., command line, Bash, Linux OS)
