HireArt is seeking an Audio Visual and Events Engineer to manage and scale the company's AV infrastructure, collaborative spaces, and end-user experience.

In this role, you’ll focus on deploying, maintaining, and expanding collaborative spaces while evaluating and integrating new AV technologies that support company-wide operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong systems design and troubleshooting experience, solid project management skills, and the ability to provide reliable, discreet executive-level support.

As an Audio Visual and Events Engineer, you’ll:
  • Design AV standards and deploy, maintain, and enhance AV infrastructure across conference rooms and training spaces using Neat hardware, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron NVX, and AV-over-IP technologies.
  • Lead AV projects—including office build-outs, technology upgrades, and AV service roadmap development—to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Administer the company’s Zoom platform, including user and room provisioning, troubleshooting, feature deployment, security compliance, and licensing.
  • Provide advanced support for conference and collaboration technologies (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Mac Minis, room controllers), including root-cause troubleshooting for meeting and room issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all AV devices and develop refresh plans based on lifecycle, performance, and operational needs. Utilize remote management tools (e.g., Neat Pulse, Logitech Sync) for monitoring, firmware updates, and device management.
  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot deployed AV systems to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, systems diagrams, and user-friendly guides for all AV services.
  • Deliver professional, discreet “white-glove” support for executive meeting spaces and high-visibility events.
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal broadcasts, company-wide meetings, and executive offsites, including setup and configuration of Zoom Events.
  • Travel to various company sites within the Bay Area as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a professional audiovisual role
  • 3+ years of experience in AV infrastructure design, deployment, or project management
  • Expertise in administering Zoom Meetings, Zoom Rooms, and Zoom Events
  • Proven experience providing executive-level, white-glove support
  • Expertise with networked AV systems (Neat, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron NVX)
  • Experience with remote AV device management tools (Neat Pulse, Logitech Sync)
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (G-Suite) administration
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and AV-over-IP troubleshooting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. This role is onsite and available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
