You’ll translate business and functional requirements into cohesive technical solutions and support SAP integrations across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, deep technical expertise, and experience collaborating across business and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable SAP solutions.

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you'll:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP solutions, including Fiori, CDS views, OData services, SAPUI5, Adobe Forms, RFCs, BRF+, workflows, HTML, BADIs, and user exits.
  • Develop RICEFW objects in S/4HANA across FICO, MM, PP, QM, and EWM modules.
  • Apply a strong understanding of HANA architecture, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP.
  • Use advanced ABAP development practices and support end-to-end business processes in S/4HANA.
  • Maintain change controls within SAP and adjacent systems.
  • Work with iFlows, SOAP/REST APIs, JDBC calls, ABAP RFCs, and OData services.
  • Follow and improve integration patterns, standards, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting end-user experience, data integrity, or system functionality.
  • Support enterprise architecture and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Collaborate with business users, functional teams, developers, and integration partners to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience with SAP ABAP programming
  • Experience performing diagnostic tests on new and existing applications to ensure quality and requirements alignment
  • Ability to provide technical resolutions to end-users and proactively prevent recurring system issues
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting production issues
  • Integration experience with S/4HANA
  • SAP ABAP/CPI certification is preferred

Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience with SAP CPI or PI/PO
  • Experience with high-level systems design, data design, and integration patterns

Benefits:
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Employer (HireArt) subsidized healthcare benefits (Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service)
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • HireArt covers all costs for short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite, and is available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
