Job description

HireArt is looking for an organized, resourceful, and empathetic Operations Site Lead with excellent communication skills to provide operations support to key clients. Please note that this is an Atlanta, GA-based hybrid position that requires regular travel to multiple client facilities across the US. Your work will focus on providing an outstanding experience for both our client and our contract employees through a tasteful and strategic approach to employee onboarding, training, support, performance management, engagement, and the resolution of HR-related inquiries.

As an Operations Site Lead, you will partner cross-functionally with various HireArt teams, including with Onboarding & Compliance, Finance, and Account Management to manage the employment lifecycle of over 200 contract employees. You’ll serve as a primary liaison/point of contact between HireArt and our client across a number of locations, including Atlanta, Austin, LA, DC, and more to come - ensuring a successful partnership.

You’ll onboard new hires, be the point of contact for Tier-1 and Tier-2 HR-related inquiries and concerns, and provide coaching and feedback to employees. You’ll also champion ongoing improvement by identifying and mitigating common challenges, and establishing scalable processes that optimize performance, engagement, and satisfaction.

As an Operations Site Lead, you’ll:
  • Drive employee day-one readiness by ensuring:
    • Onboarding materials are received and logged in the appropriate systems
    • Critical first day information is clearly communicated to new hires
    • Challenges, questions, and issues are proactively resolved in order to complete onboarding within 24 hours
  • Field payroll, timesheet, PTO, benefits, and other employee inquiries via Zendesk, Slack, in-person, and phone.
  • Address performance, behavior, and attendance issues through coaching, feedback, documentation, and termination, as needed.
  • Monitor attendance and submit accurate timekeeping hours for client approval.
  • Develop a strong rapport with our client and workers as a main point-of-contact for contract employee HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide deployment and recruiting support to our client.
  • Strategically guide further development and administration of the employee experience.
  • Implement and own scalable people operations processes and resources that balance positive employee experiences with client policies, procedures, and satisfaction.

You’ll be successful in this role if you can:
  • Work in a highly autonomous and high-trust environment, using effective time management and prioritization skills to your advantage.
  • Demonstrate excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a highly effective and professional manner across levels.
  • Tactfully and confidently provide constructive feedback.
  • Exercise compassion, empathy, respect, and kindness in all interactions.
  • Anticipate needs, think critically about business issues, and make thoughtful recommendations quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience providing direct people support to a workforce of 50+ in the realm of Operations, HR, Employee Experience, or Workforce Management.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting clients as a point of contact/liaison.
  • Ability to travel regularly to client sites
  • A strong understanding of program management and experience optimizing, documenting, and defining programmatic processes.
  • Tech savvy with experience working within project management and relationship management platforms.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets).

You’ll Really Stand out if you have:
  • 5+ years of Operations, HR, Employee Experience, or Workforce Management experience
  • Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AVO) and/or Contract Workforce spaces.
  • Familiarity with VNDLY or another VMS platform, Workday, Monday.com, and Zendesk.
  • An HR certification.
  • A project management certification.

HireArt offers a benefits package that includes:
  • 100% employer-covered insurance premiums
    • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance for employee, spouse, and children
    • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Work-from-home stipends, including:
    • Workspace/home office set-up
    • Company supplied Apple laptop
    • Phone/internet stipend
  • Uncapped PTO, including paid office holidays
  • 401(K) through Fidelity

This is a hybrid, full-time, 6-month contract-to-hire position with HireArt and is open to candidates who reside and are authorized to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer sponsorships or do corp-to-corp.

HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, which is why we are interested in every qualified candidate, regardless of their background, how they identify, or their inclusion in any protected class.

Company description

HireArt's mission is to make it easy for companies to build and manage a world-class contract workforce.

Today, mid-sized companies with contract workforces must navigate significant legal, financial, talent acquisition, and operational complexities to build and manage these workforces on a global scale. In most cases, they rely on a stack of point solutions: agencies to source and employ talent, a software system to track workers and agencies (VMS), and a service to provide day-to-day management of the program (MSP). The default contract workforce stack doesn’t provide much visibility into or control over the workforce, because the pieces of the stack don’t integrate well together, resulting in massive administrative headaches and frustration for companies.

HireArt’s delightful intersection of humans and software provide all of the tooling needed for mid-sized companies to hire contractors anywhere in the world compliantly, and contract workers to have as great an experience as full-time employees have day-to-day.
